All Living Learning Communities:
- provide special attention to first year students;
- focus on academic achievement in an encouraging setting;
- promote collaboration among faculty, staff, and students;
- support an integration of the intellectual and social aspects of student life.
LLCs are available to students based on the following interests:

CBA
College of Business Administration

Ease into the undergraduate business program and take advantage of the many activities offered by the CBA Living Learning Community, such as: team building exercises, etiquette dinners, fieldtrips to local businesses, and resume workshops.

These floors allow first-year students to live and learn together in an environment that is specially designed to help facilitate a smooth transition from high school to college. Addressing issues such as relationships, health and wellness, diversity, and academic success, these floors offer a wealth of opportunities and resources for students in their first year at the University of Pittsburgh.

There is no better place to experience the diversity of Pitt then on the International floor. Offering students the opportunity to interact with international and domestic students, share customs and values, prepare ethnic meals, and participate in roundtable discussions, this floor is a must for anyone who is interested in learning about what it means to be a global citizen. SPACE
Students Preparing for Academic Careers
in Engineering

Many interesting activities are offered to students who participate in SPACE. For example, trips to the Carnegie Science Center, informal discussions with faculty, visits with professional engineers, cultural arts events, sports competitions, and many other events provide first year students with a variety of ways to incorporate their learning into their day-to-day living.
This rigorous academic program is complimented by the out of class advantage of living with peers who are taking the same classes. In hall tutoring, review sessions, and small group discussions all aid in the learning process. Resident Assistants are Engineering students who have excelled in the program and are available to assist you as you begin your academic career in Engineering. In the heart of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) is where you will find yourself if nursing is your choice of study. This floor offers women the opportunity to study with floor mates in the same program, attend field trips within UPMC, participate in professional seminars, and interact with accomplished nurses.
